Merkur business segment
The Merkur business segment consolidates the development, production and sales of gaming machines and corresponding games in Germany and abroad, as well as the development and marketing of online casino solutions and online games within adp Gauselmann GmbH. Cash and ticketing activities together with financial services are also subsumed in the Merkur business segment.
Worldwide, 16 developer teams are engaged in creating and implementing innovative ideas in existing and new products, applications and system solutions for land-based and online markets. Nearly all products – irrespective of whether destined for the national or international markets – are manufactured at the company’s production plant in Lübbecke to the internationally applicable DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 standard. Other production sites are located in Mechernich and Magstadt, the headquarters of our GeWeTe and HESS subsidiaries.
In addition to its progressive development division and state-of-the-art production, the Merkur business segment impresses with its adaptability to the latest trends and gaming habits in the local markets, as well as to the respective legal and social framework.
Gaming machines
The core competence of the Gauselmann Group is the development, production and sales of gaming machines.
Online casino solutions
With its e-gaming offerings from the edict eGaming GmbH and Blueprint Gaming Limited subsidiaries, the Gauselmann Group develops Europe’s regulated and licensed online markets.
Cash and ticketing activities
The GeWeTe and HESS subsidiaries develop, produce and distribute money-exchange and payment systems for casinos and arcades, the public sector and other economic sectors.
Financial services
The Euro Payment Group (EPG) subsidiary offers online payment options in the areas of online payment, mobile payment and gateway services for online brokers.
